Luke and Mommy went to Pennsylvania

Luke and I went to Pennsylvania to visit my sister, Courtney, and her family. We had so much fun. They live near Hershey, PA. So, we went to Hershey Park and rode all the rides. Luke liked the fastest and highest ones he could ride. He is a dare devil! Luke had a blast with his cousin Cooper, Aunt Coco, and Uncle Kris. We wish they lived closer.

My sweet kiddos

We have been having so much fun lately. Luke is still cracking us up. He is definitely our entertainment. He has been giving Elizabeth more attention. Here he is trying to give her some water in a sippy cup.
Elizabeth is such a sweet baby. She is easy going, and always happy. She is also a great sleeper and eater.

Mother's Day Weekend 2007

This picture cracks me up because it totally matches Luke's personality.

Fun with friends

Here are Luke and Allie. They are such great buds! They love to play outside together.
This is Allie's sister Emmie. She is a month older than Elizabeth.
Here's my Lizzie Girl! She loves her exersaucer. It is funny to see her play with it compared to Luke. Luke would wildly hit it over and over again. While Elizabeth calmly hits it and plays with one toy at a time.
Here is Luke trying to get in the swimming pool at the firm's family picnic. He had a blast. I can't wait to see him at the pool this summer!

Our trip to California

Ryan and I were able to get away for almost a week without the kids. We went to San Francisco, the wine country, Sausalito, Stanford (Palo Alto), and Carmel. We had a fabulous time. It was absolutely breathtaking.
Carmel - on the way to Big Sur
Pebble Beach
Chapel at Stanford - Ryan and I fell in love with Stanford. I've started SAT flashcards for Luke and Elizabeth in the hopes that one of them may go there so we can visit regularly.
This was AMAZING. This the view from our room in Carmel. Our hotel was built into the side of a mountain and the ocean was right below us. We spent hours watching the waves roll in. We loved the hotel. The views were incredible everywhere - the restaurants, bar, lounge, and our room. Every room had a wood burning fireplace.
This is at our hotel from our table at one of the restaurants.

Carmel - on the way to Big Sur

Sonoma - Ridge winery
The golden gate bridge
San Francisco
Stanford
Pebble Beach - Ryan shot a 79 this day. He said he didn't do as well because it was so windy. Just kidding - he didn't get to play. Maybe some day though.

April

April flew by with a frenzy! Luke is cracking us up. He talks ALL the time and is finally getting to really play outside now that it is warming up. Ryan is definitely his hero. Luke often puts on a tie, belt and Dad's shoes and says he is going to work. Elizabeth is getting SO big - almost too big according to the doctor. She is extremely easy going and very sweet and cuddly. Luke loves her.
