Easter weekend

We had a great Easter weekend. Ryan's mom and grandma came and spent a few days with us. It was really fun.
After our Easter egg hunt, I found Elizabeth hiding out in the hall going through her eggs.

Luke loved his chocolate bunny. We had to eat the ears before church.

On Good Friday, Ryan and I took Luke to the theater to see Horton Hears a Who.
We dyed Easter eggs with Ryan's best friend from college and his girlfriend on Saturday.
We had a little accident with the pink dye. Luke spilled the entire cup of dye. He caught most of it in his Crocs. We didn't know it until we took them off only to find HOT pink feet!

Singin' in the Rain

We had a crazy morning in the grocery store this day. I thought I'd be the fun mom and rent one of the "nice" car grocery carts. The kids loved it. I strapped them in and off we went. We had our regular stop at the bakery but unfortunately, this day there were no cookies - just brownie bites. So, no big deal, they're small - right!?!. I split one between the two of them and off we went to shop. About half way through the store, I heard Luke - "No, no Elizabeth - Don't touch me!!! It's all over you - on your hands, your nose, your face. Don't get it on me." HMM? What is he talking about - I wondered. I decided to take a peek. To my surprise, Elizabeth had turned into a little brown baby. She had smeared the TINY brownie bite ALL over her, all over the car window. Of course, I was totally unprepared - no wipes - nothing. So, I grabbed some napkins and tried to clean baby girl up. I just couldn't get it off. So, we came home and bathed her in the rain. They had a blast!
No more chocolate Mom!

Luke's 3rd Birthday Party

I realize this is extremely blurry but we didn't get many pictures during the jumping party. It was pretty wild - 24 toddlers running around like crazy! We had a great time and we are truly blessed to have such fabulous friends. I don't know what Luke is going to do tomorrow without a present to unwrap. He has already been planning his party for next year.

BIG time

Today was Luke's birthday. We had a BLAST! He is so precious and getting so BIG! He really got the idea of it being HIS birthday - HIS presents - HIS candles, etc.
I bought several small cupcakes knowing that we would be blowing out candles and singing several times today. This was at 10:30 this morning!

Ryan and I got him a sand and water table. Unfortunately we had freezing rain today. So, we played with the water inside. We went through 3 changes of clothes today!
Luke and I went to the Aggie basketball game with my dad while Ryan was out of town. Luke loved it.

Luke got this Mr. Incredible costume from us for his birthday. He insisted that he wear it to his special breakfast with Dad at Shipley's this morning. The rest of the day he just wore the mask.
